Identification Methods
The kinds of ID documents you can record on a contact, such as driver's license, passport, bar number, and any type you add.
You'll find this page in Settings under Contacts.
When you record a form of ID on a contact (see the Identification section), you pick its method: what kind of document it is. This page manages that list.
The Standard Set
Outlaw ships with a standard set you can pull in with Import Standard Options: Alien Registration Number, Bar Number, Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Green Card, Military ID, Passport Number, Social Security Number, State ID, Tax Identification Number, and USCIS Number. Import the ones that fit your practice (you can reword them afterward) and add your own for anything else you need to keep on file.
Managing the List
Each entry is just a name. Administrators can also add a method on the spot while recording an ID on a contact; other users pick from the existing list. A method that’s already used on contacts can’t be deleted; if you’ve ended up with duplicates (say, “Drivers License” and “Driver’s License”), select both and use Merge to combine them and repoint every contact that used the old one.
